Home Valley offers a range of amenities to make your stay on country an enjoyable and comfortable one, without compromising your authentic outback experience.
Tour Desk
Home Valley Station is an outback adventure playground waiting to be explored. Tours and experiences can be booked from our reception desk and include the Balanggarra Home Valley Tour, Sunset Tour and Stargazing Tour, local walks and nearby attractions.
Swimming Pools
Home Valley Station has a large main swimming pool for all guests to relax by and enjoy. Pool opening hours are 7.00am to 5.30pm every day, except Mondays when the pool is open from 10.30am to 5.30pm due to maintenance.
There is also a smaller pool for the exclusive use of Riverside Suite & Homestead Deluxe room guests.
Playground Area
Playground area is available for use between 7.00am and 6.00pm. Children are to be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
Dusty's Bar
Offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, Home Valley’s famous outback pub is the place to go for quality Australian bush tucker, cold beer and live entertainment.
Breakfast: 6.30am – 9am
Lunch: 11.30am – 2pm
Dinner: 6pm – 8.30pm
Dinner bookings are essential.
Dusty’s Bar closes around 10.00pm.
Conference & Event Facilities - Joorak Ngarni
Situated in the Homestead facilities, the Joorak Ngarni room provides a multipurpose, large, open conference space overlooking the lagoon-style pool and courtyard garden. The room has a rustic charm with modern fittings and the necessary audio-visual equipment.
General Store
Open from 7am to 6pm, the General Store is stocked with a range of basic food and toiletry supplies including cold drinks, milk, chocolates and ice creams, cheese and crackers, shampoo and conditioner, deodorant and toothpaste. It also has a selection of fishing lures, insect repellents and merchandise items such as T-shirts, postcards, giftwares and Indigenous souvenirs.
Washing Machines & Clothes Lines
Guests have the use of both a washing machine and clothes dryer. Both machines take 7 x $1 coins. Reception is able to provide coins as necessary.
Airstrip
Home Valley Station has a 1300m airstrip that charter flights are able to land on. Pre-arrangements are essential. Please contact Reception or email homevalley@balanggarra.com.au to book.
Payment Methods & ATM
Home Valley Station has Eftpos facilities available, but there is no cash out service.
Emergencies
In case of emergencies, Home Valley Station has a Royal Flying Doctors Service medical chest onsite and an emergency phone located outside reception.
